Jeff Turner, J.D. has more than 20 years of experience helping leaders, teams and organizations move to higher states of productivity and engagement as they work to align their strategy, goals and culture.

An accomplished organizational development expert, executive coach, and certified mediator, Turner focuses on what systemically drives performance and on helping clients achieve measurable results with lasting impact. He is known for establishing strong, trusting relationships with people, working collaboratively to help clarify priorities and set short- and long-term goals — then implement the specific actions required to meet and exceed them. With his guidance, clients eliminate ineffective practices, leverage current strengths, and pursue powerful, pragmatic strategies that position them for future success.

Turner’s extensive experience spans the public and private sectors, from multinational corporations such as Starbucks to public agencies such as Department of Transportation. His hands-on, research-backed organizational development approach has helped catalyze change in multiple industries including professional services, healthcare, tech, nonprofit, government, insurance, transportation, education, financial services, and more.

Prior to co-founding Praxis HR, Turner served as Vice President of Human Resources for a multi-state healthcare company. During his tenure, he helped position the company as a recipient of Seattle Magazine’s “Best Places to Work” and Washington CEO “Best Places to Work.”

Turner is a former Associate Dean and an Assistant Professor of Business at Hardin-Simmons University, where he taught management, human resources management, and organizational behavior. He also has worked for Fortune 500 companies, including Motorola and the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. He is a former President of the Seattle Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and served on the U.S. Small Business Association’s National Advisory Council. He’s a frequent keynote speaker on human resources and organizational development topics.

Steve Gibbs

As the president of Praxis HR, Steve helps organizations navigate the legislative and regulatory landscape and influence public policy through grassroots and grasstops advocacy. He provides strategy development, coalition building, issue advocacy, media relations, event planning, product marketing, and corporate sponsorship management to a wide range of nonprofits and Fortune 100 companies, including The Pew Charitable Trusts, Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble and Walmart.

Steve’s background blends corporate, political and NGO/nonprofit experience and enables him to serve an important cross-functional role helping clients bring ideas and aspirations to life. He has led a state campaign for a presidential candidate, created field campaigns for international corporations, and opened an office in Bosnia-Herzegovina for a NGO supporting the growth of political and economic freedom and human rights.

From local issues to national and international campaigns, Steve has a proven track record mobilizing the right partners and allies to advance issues from the ground up. He’s recognized for shaping communication strategies that tell persuasive, powerful stories, and for leveraging his extensive network of influential leaders, policymakers, and media to grow awareness and win favorable outcomes.

Kelin Colberg

Kelin has nearly two decades of experience assisting senior leaders and their teams develop and implement strategies and programs that advance their organizations’ visions and goals.

Specializing in data-driven solutions, Kelin excels at identifying client needs and designing a realistic approach to obtain them. She is skilled in project design, project management, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, data synthesis and reporting. Whether managing a large team or an independent study, Kelin is an effective leader, problem-solver and communicator.

Kelin strives to build strong relationships and trust with both her colleagues and clients. In doing so, she has helped develop and implement effective strategies across a wide array of private and public sector industries, including higher education, healthcare technology, cord blood banking, health outcomes research (pharmaceutical/biotech), retail banking and management consulting.

M Miller

M is a strategy consultant at Praxis HR, bringing over 15 years of experience helping clients achieve their strategic objectives. M specializes in “people engagement,” aiding clients in fostering strong, authentic, and meaningful relationships with their customers, employees, and the broader community to amplify the organization’s mission and promote social equity.

M has extensive experience supporting groups in resolving issues and developing mutually acceptable solutions. She has successfully led teams in creating innovative and effective programs for both public and private clients, overseeing projects from inception to implementation and evaluation. M has a background working with a diverse client base including the trades, the healthcare industry, transportation, non-profits, small businesses, and higher education.

M began her career with a deep dive into all things education—classroom teaching, training, instructional design, and educational research. She then served as a senior policy associate for an educational advocacy organization in Washington, DC. Returning to Seattle, she brought these experiences to a variety of roles at SEIU 775 Benefits Group from Chief of Employee Happiness to Director of Customer Experience for a customer base of 44,000 home care aides. While there, she worked collaboratively with WA State government, employer groups, and union representatives.

M is a Washington State certified mediator.

Tereza Rush

Project Manager & Technology Integration Specialist

Education

B.A.S., Early Childhood Education, Phi Theta Kappa, North Seattle College

As the project manager and technology integration specialist, Tereza coordinates meetings and supports the facilitation of virtual tools and platforms to support remote collaboration and engagement with fellow Praxis HR colleagues and clients. Tereza ensures accessibility and inclusivity in virtual engagement efforts, accommodating diverse needs and preferences. She also oversees the planning, coordination, execution, instructional design, and completion of various projects.
