Our certified mediators help people take responsibility for the resolution of their workplace disputes. Conflicts about work expectations, performance reviews, discrimination and a range of other issues can escalate quickly if they aren’t addressed swiftly and methodically. Our role as an impartial third party is to facilitate communication between the parties, promote their understanding of the issues, focus on their interests, and push creative problem-solving that enables them to reach their own agreements and resolutions to problems.

Specifically, we use solution-focused coaching, a strength-based approach grounded in the belief that people have the resilience, resources and solutions required to resolve issues and make the most of opportunities. It aims to tap into their capacity and potential by encouraging them to identify what works for them, prioritize actions they can put into practice immediately, and consider options for expanding their range of solutions. Collaboration, communication, and conflict management planning are among core skills often fostered during coaching sessions.
